My ASP scripts are not running, the server is returning an HTTP 500 error.

You need to turn off your browsers "Friendly error messages". In Internet Explorer 5.0 and above, click on Tools -> Internet Options, then click the advanced tab. Un-check the box entitled "Show friendly HTTP error messages" After applying the settings, refresh your page and you will receive the actual error that your script is generating.
