What is Exchange ActiveSync?

Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) is based off of Microsoft's Exchange Service which is the industry standard for synchronizing email clients and mobile devices with email servers. Using EAS you can synchronize your emails, contacts and calendars with a number of email clients, including Microsoft Outlook, smartphones and tablets.

Why use ActiveSync?

Exchange ActiveSync utilizes technology to synchronize emails, calendars and contacts -- including contact pictures -- in real time. This means that any changes to your data are automatically recorded on our server and within your email client - whether it be on your home or work computer or mobile device.
